Designed for the recreational cyclist who wishes to witness the full array of Switzerland's dramatic beauty. Soaring glaciated peaks, hanging valleys, thundering waterfalls, fields of wild flowers and quaint secluded villages are typical highlights throughout this easy biking tour. Keep in mind that alternate routes are available for the intermediate or avid cyclist.

Originally designed by the once curator of a prominent Swiss museum the tour blends hiking with recreational cycling and a variety of tours and excursions. We visit all four linguistic regions of Switzerland within a magical array of settings. Keep in mind the bikes are always with us and we can alter any days route and will often offer you the choice of activity. 

. After giving you a chance to settle in and change into your bike attire we embark on a short warm-up loop along what is considered Europe’s most pristine section of the Rhein River. We stop at the 500yr old medieval wooden bridge that has always been a favorite local landmark as well as the river crossing from Switzerland into Germany. Along this route enjoy a rural jaunt past fields of sunflowers and wheat, then pedal to a spot where you can take your first dip in the crystal clear river before we return to town for a visit of the overlooking castle fortress. From there we watch the sunset and over a complimentary drink we discuss the coming days.

Two amazing regions in one tour. Biking in Tuscany then hiking in the Cinque Terre is an active traveler's dream come true. Enjoying a Chianti Classico by the infinity pool spilling into the vineyards then boat over to the nearby island for a seafood feast after a walk along the terraced cliff-side of the Cinque Terre Coast.
